The Joint Council of Amhara Struggle tries to bring all Amhara entities together to
bring their ideas and other resources in support of the survival and thriving of Amharas who have been target of the Ethiopian ethno-apartheid regime and subjected to different atrocities including genocide and ethnic cleansing.

The Joint Council of Amhara Struggle bears the responsibility of advising on present and future matters concerning the Amhara community, serving as a platform for genuine Amhara organizations claiming unity in the Amhara cause. Within this council, the discernment between authentic members and infiltrators is paramount, while also facilitating the reconciliation and strengthening of diverse approaches.

በዐማራ ጉዳይ ያገባናል የሚሉ ዕውነተኛ የዐማራ ድርጅቶች ስለ ዐማራው የአሁኑንና የወደፊት ዕጣ ፋንታ የሚመክሩበት፣ ዕውነተኛውን ከሰርጎ ገብ ነጥሎ ለማወቅ የሚችሉበትና የአካሄድ ልዩነቶቻቸውን አጥብበው ተስማምተው ወይም ተዋህደው የሚጠነክሩበትን የትግል አካሄድ የሚያመቻች ተጠሪነቱ ለዐማራው የሆነ የትግል የጋራ ምክር ቤት ነው።
